Maxi Skirt: Day to Night
Hello Loves,
I hope all has been well. Where have I been you may ask? Well in the past two weeks I finished finals in London, now I'm back home in America and I literally just started summer classes last week. I don't think I am jet-lagged, but boy am I exhausted. It's tough trying to balance 2 summer classes, research, and just trying to live life. Hopefully by next week I will get back into the swing of things, and catch myself up to where I need to be. So the other day I was thinking about how I don't really have any maxi skirts, I think I have one, but when I wore it I really didn't dress it up. So it hit me to just go on Polyvore and see how I can turn a maxi from day to night. Hope you love the little collage :)

Maxi Skirt: Day to Night by bria-oc featuring vintage handbags
Knit top, $23 / F.A.V tall shirt, $30 / Ted Baker pleated maxi skirt / Nude wedge / Topshop shoes / Chanel vintage handbag, $4,740 / Fat Face leather shoulder bag, $69 / GUESS straw hat
Day outfit: Makes me think of a more beachy type. It's for if you are just walking close to the water, and you are not planning on getting wet. It is always breezy by the water so the long sleeves keep you arms warm. Wear Sandals to be comfortable, and the hat to block the sun from your face.
Night Outfit: This can be worn if you are going out to dinner or a night with the girls. The bandeau shirt shoes of your arms and adds a little more appeal. The wedges give you height, but also takes your outfit from a casual to a more dressy.
Hope you enjoyed my post, please comment and follow :)

Sunday's in London - OOTD
Hello Loves,
Here are some OOTD picks from a couple of weeks ago. I was crazy for some of the trends I saw in London and of course I had to follow. I finally wore my leather armed motor jacket and my lovely creepers. I spent my day roaming through the market, spending money on delicious food and admiring the styling work of others. Enjoy :)

London Street Style - Spitalfield Market / Brick Lane
Hello Loves,
So I have been gone for a while as usual. Keeping up with my blog and youtube channel has really been tough. Lately I've been wearing sweaters and leggings, nothing interesting enough for a post. I've also hardly been going anywhere, just boring old uni. This past Sunday I hung out with my friend Makia and we had a lovely time just walking through the markets and taking pics. We walked around Spitalfield Market and Brick Lane, tried bunches of food samples lol. I decided to do my first ever Street Style post. I've seen so many of these on other blogs that I follow and every time I go out, esp on market days, I see outfits that I wish I could take pictures of to maybe try and replicate for myself in the future. It took guts for me to be able to randomly walk up to people and ask to take their pictures for my blog, but it was worth it. I realized that I should def get business cards for my blog so that I can hand them out to get more subscribers and people to see I am really trying to build it up. I hope you enjoy these outfits that I've chosen, and trust these are not the only ones that interested me. For each outfit I listed my favorite piece that if I had the chance to borrow I could lol. Hopefully in the future I can have more street style days, maybe NY in the summer, who knows. So enjoy huns :)

1. Her skirt is definitely a key piece to this outfit. The patterned trim at the bottom with the material makes it pop and it looks amazing.

Hairology Conference
Hello Loves,
So I have been gone an extremely long time. Uni life of course has been ruling my life, and these days seems like nothing really that interesting with fashion has been happening to me, but don't worry give me a couple of months and I will bring this blog to where I've always wanted it to be.
Well a couple of weeks ago, towards the beginning of March, I went to a program entitled Hairology at University College London. It was a conference geared towards Natural Afro- Caribbean featuring trichologist, UK bloggers, and salon stylist. We also received these amazing goodie bags. Overall the event was amazing, I learned so much about my hair, and if you hear of any in your areas you should def go. :)
